Frances and Larry Sologuk purchased the store from the Fairweathers in 1985 and have made it a mission to make Osoyoos Home Hardware a unique shopping experience. One visit to the store and you will see that this is no ordinary hardware store, in fact Osoyoos Home Hardware was voted the BEST HARDWARE STORE IN CANADA 2006 by Hardware Merchandising and is an example of a business that is truly run with passion. During recent renovations of the building attention was paid to preserving the history of the only remaining business still in operation since 1942....you will find an original 1929 gas pump and a jail cell door from Camp McKinney as part of the charm of the 13,000 sq.ft. retail space.
